The Futurliner was delivered to Auburn by Mitch Mounsey and his son
Mark. It was met by the crew of Ed & Dorothy DeVries, Howard
Sullivan, John Wissink, Chuck & Gail Snow and Paul & Marjo Prinzing.

It took nearly an hour to unload the Futurliner and park it in
position at the NATMUS site.

The unloading process is tedious and exacting with little or
no room for error. |

Paul Prinzing backs the Futurliner off the trailer. |

Carol Scholten wipes the road grime off the Futurliner. This process
takes quite a while to accomplish as the ladder had to be moved
forward a couple of feet at a time. Climbing up and down the ladder
and wiping the paint clean is pretty exhausting. Carol's husband Al
helped as well. |

The display doors open to expose the stage area for the show. |

Volunteers (in the green shirts) talk with visitors curious about
the vehicle and its history. |
